Yinny grew up in the child welfare system in Colombia. 
We first met Yinny in Colombia and advocated for her for over three years. 
Due to Yinny’s age and medical needs, concerted efforts were needed to find the right forever family prepared for Yinny’s needs. 
Our Waiting Child Team developed a specific advocacy plan just for Yinny. 
Our team in Colombia was there for Yinny throughout the process and was able to share with her that she was going to be adopted. 
We are praising God that just over a year ago, 11-year-old Yinny was united with her forever family! 
Yinny loves singing and dancing and we are so excited that her adoptive parents share this love as well. 
Her mom is a music teacher and worship leader and her dad is a pastor. 
In July 2020, Yinny celebrated one year home with her forever family. We are so grateful that Yinny now knows just how loved she is!
