THE HOUSE OF HOPE IN COLOMBIA
In partnership with the Tim Tebow Foundation, we have launched a second Independence Home in Bogotá, Colombia! The AGCI & the Tim Tebow Foundation House of Hope in Colombia serves young women who are aging out of institutional care and provides them with the opportunity to heal from past trauma and become the incredible individuals God created them to be.
ABIGAIL
Abigail* was one of the first young women in our Dream Home to graduate! Abigail earned her degree in accounting and is now working full-time. Abigail’s transformation during her time the Dream Home is such a testament to God’s goodness! With the help of the Dream Home, she has begun to heal from a lifetime of trauma and has broken the cycle of trauma for her family. We are so proud of her and all that she has accomplished.

Every year, approximately 2,000 young adults age out of Colombia’s child welfare system with no support.
So, in 2018, we partnered with the Central Authority of Colombia to develop the first guidelines needed to protect and equip 18–24-year-olds living in child welfare. Through this partnership, we launched the very first Independence Home in Colombia that would care for young adults aging out of institutional care.
Building upon that model, the House of Hope in Colombia provides 24 young women with a safe space to heal from past wounds and learn how to be healthy adults, inside and out, while pursuing a college degree. Instead of aging out of institutional care and being left to navigate adulthood alone, the House of Hope in Colombia provides a safe place for young women to live, learn, and find true healing, so they can break the cycle of trauma, grow in their independence, and prepare for their future.
House of Hope Colombia residents receive:
