Celebrating the First Graduation House of Hope in Colombia!

The AGCI & Tim Tebow Foundation House of Hope in Colombia is celebrating big this month in honor of Victoria's* (24) graduation as a professional makeup artist.
Victoria entered the welfare system in 2006 when she was only 6 years old due to neglect and physical and verbal abuse. This early childhood trauma greatly impacted her view of family and scarred her ability to trust adults, leaving her jaded toward the world around her.
Never being adopted into a forever family, Victoria aged out of institutional care and moved into the House of Hope hesitant about the future.
When we first met Victoria, she harbored resentment from her past and was easily frustrated with the circumstances around her. But, through our team's consistent love and care, Victoria began to heal and experience the God-intended beauty of intentional community. We have loved watching Victoria build strong connections through the House of Hope, allowing housemates and staff to become like family for her. Not only that, but since moving into the House of Hope, she was even able to reconnect with her biological sister!
As she neared her graduation, Victoria invited her House of Hope family and her biological sister to join in the celebration, and it was a joy, honor, and privilege for us to cheer her on during this special occasion.
Through your support of the House of Hope, a new and brighter future has been unlocked for Victoria and generations to come.
We are so proud of Victoria and her determination to chase after her dreams despite all the obstacles she has faced in life. But, even more so, we are so proud of her for the young woman she is becoming—believing in God and in herself.
"I want to thank all the people who supported me on this special day, on this achievement that I have just accomplished. Also, thank you Hollen, those who have us in their hearts, and all those who support us and help us on our journey. I also thank God for the work done by the team, who are always there for me."
