Girma was recently brought to our Hannah’s Hope partner home by his birth father who works as a day laborer. Sadly, Girma’s mother passed away during his birth and his father is unable to care for Girma and his two older sisters, Etenesh and Birhane who also live in our home. Girma is developmentally delayed, very sweet and loves school! He shared with us that he especially likes learning and speaking English! When he is older, Girma says he wants to be a driver of a “Bajaj” – these are small, local cars that are all over Gambella, Ethiopia. He really likes to build things and can often be found creating different structures with his building blocks! He is a very shy and soft-spoken young boy, but once he gets comfortable with you, he’ll invite you to play too!
Will you help sponsor Girma and ensure that he has the love, care, and nourishment he needs to thrive?
