OUR WORK IN ECUADOR
ABOUT ECUADOR
Tragically, due to stigmas and cultural expectations surrounding children and families, most children abandoned in Ecuador have special needs. Significant gaps in socioeconomic status has also led to widespread poverty in the more rural areas of the Ecuador. Due to this cycle of poverty, 32% of infants are stunted due to poor nutrition.
HOW WE’RE INTERVENING FOR ORPHANS IN ECUADOR

PLACE
Finding Families for Orphans
In 2022, we began working to unite orphans in Ecuador with loving forever families through our adoption programs.
We’re so excited to work with Ecuador’s Central Authority, which is very child-centered, thoughtful, and efficient when working with families. We have a great working relationship with the local staff for this program and travel for adoptive families is seamless.
We also offer a Relative Adoption program for extended family members. Please reach out to us to learn more about this program.
