13-year-old Tina is a kind, affectionate girl who wants nothing more than a family’s love! Our team met Tina in Colombia in 2017 and immediately saw how very special she is! We spent an afternoon with this sweet, loving girl playing basketball and making friendship bracelets and we completely fell in love with her.
Tina craves connection—she shared with us multiple times how much she wants to be adopted and have the unconditional love of a family. Throughout our afternoon together, she was eager to please and loved sharing her interests with us.
Tina is definitely an artist! She has amazing drawing skills and even made a member of our team a special friendship bracelet! She’s also a talented singer and songwriter. She shared with us that she likes to write songs to cheer herself up when she’s feeling sad. She sang a beautiful and heartbreaking song to us that she had written about her mother leaving her and her sister.
Tina is also an excellent student. Her favorite classes are English and technology. Tina loves basketball and is also the captain of her school’s team! Outside of school, Tina likes riding bikes, baking, and playing basketball with her best friend. Tina is a caring kid and gets along well with her peers and younger children.
