Could Tessa Be Your Daughter?

“I can do all things through him who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13

5-year-old Tessa is a sweet, loving little girl! Kind and friendly Tessa loves artistic activities such as painting, dancing, and listening to music. She is an energetic, fun, happy child and we know God has amazing things planned for her.

When Tessa was very young, she suffered a traumatic injury to her brain that also fractured her arms. While Tessa has made incredible progress, she is still affected by the brain injury. This has caused developmental delays, but with the help of different therapies as well as regular playful interaction with her peers, she has shown tremendous progress in her development. Tessa is such a fighter and we continue to be impressed by her drive, resilience, and can-do attitude!

Today, she can do many basic activities on her own, such as eating and dressing. This social butterfly learns by modeling the behavior she sees in others and is able to follow simple instructions! The school she attends specializes in special education, and they have done a wonderful job to support Tessa’s growth cognitively, verbally, and physically.

We are so proud of Tessa’s resilience. We can only imagine what’s possible for her with the love and support of a forever family.
