Through counseling and education, we help older children thrive not only in their careers, but also through healthy relationships so that they are able to break the cycle that separates families for generations.

PHOTO ABOVE: Julie spent most of her life in the child welfare system in Colombia, bouncing between institutions and foster homes. After working very hard in school, she began to pursue a college degree in Interior Design. Living in a foster home and attending college was incredibly difficult for Julie. Her foster family did not support her in her dreams and withheld the government financial support that was intended to help her with school costs. When Julie joined AGCI’s Independence Program for young women who have grown up in the Child Welfare System, everything changed. “It was the difference between heaven and earth,” Julie said. We are so excited to share that she is now living on her own, working at her dream job, and absolutely thriving! Now, because she has the light of Christ in her life, she can experience joy in her future because her past has been redeemed.
