25 Years of Miracles: Let’s Find James’s Family!

“Every good and perfect gift is from above”- James 1:17
When we first met James 3 years ago, we instantly fell in love with his sweet demeanor! James celebrated his 8th birthday last week and our prayer is that his next birthday will be spent with his forever family!

This sweetheart is truly loved by all who meet him! James has such an amazing sense of self and is compassionate, caring, and charismatic. He loves to help his teachers, friends, and younger children at the orphanage. This kind, thoughtful boy adjusts well to new environments and is friendly and sweet to new people. James finds the joy in everything he does and our wish for him is that he’ll be able to spend his childhood with a family who loves him and finds the joy in parenting this amazing boy!

Sadly, James was abandoned when he was just 6 months old. He has spent his entire life in an orphanage. James has Apert syndrome, which cause abnormalities in his face shape and webbed fingers and toes. This hasn’t slowed him down in the slightest—James has great dexterity and can button his clothes, string small beads, write, run, and swim! His favorite activity is jumping on the trampoline, but he also loves puzzles and coloring.

James is on track developmentally and doing well in school! He is such a smart, hardworking kid who is eager to please. James is very skilled at expressing himself and shared with our team that his biggest wish is to have a family of his own. Many of James’s closest friends were adopted this past year and it’s been hard for him to watch his friends leave.

James is truly a “good and perfect gift” to all who meet him! His family will be incredibly blessed to have him as their son!

Families eligible for James’s adoption are able to apply for our Special Treasures grant, which could apply up to $5,000 towards agency fees. If your heart is open to welcoming James into your family this Christmas season, please do not let finances be the deterrent in that decision.
