“My heart, O God, is steadfast, my heart is steadfast; I will sing and make music.” Psalm 57:7

Baby Zoe is waiting in China for her forever family! Please share her story and join us in praying that this amazing baby girl is home soon!

Sweet Zoe was abandoned at a local temple when she was only 25 days old. Zoe’s Chinese name translates to ‘to tend to’ or ‘to protect’ and we are praying that she will soon be in the loving care of a forever family! In her early years, she’s happily found love and protection within her foster family.

With her loving foster family, 16-month-old Zoe has discovered how much she loves music, playing with toys and signing children’s songs! Zoe also loves playing outside every chance she gets! Zoe’s foster parents describe her quiet, well behaved, clever, and active—she loves to wiggle around from place to place! With support, she is able to steadily stand and sit. Zoe has great motor skills and is able to pass toys from one hand to the other. Zoe responds to her name being called and has strong control of her head and neck. She is also able to successfully track voices and toys. When Zoe targets something or someone she likes, she is able to get to it quickly!

Precious Zoe has down syndrome and underwent an operation on her heart when she was 9 months old. Fortunately, this surgery went well and she quickly recovered! Today, Zoe is such a strong, happy little girl! Her beautiful smile is impossible not to adore and she is not at all afraid of strangers. She is social, quick-witted and extremely adaptable to any changes in her
environment. She also loves music!

Zoe has loved music from the start—she often returns to where music is playing and is entranced by the rhythm and sounds.
Zoe is a sweet soul who naturally reflects an uplifting and optimistic perspective on life.

In the few instances where she does cry, she is secure in knowing her needs will be met. She is feisty and loves to be playfully teased. She is very loved and cared for, and we hope to find her forever family soon!
