How to Adopt from Haiti

“We adopted with AGCI twice; first in 2005 and then a year ago from Haiti. Two different experiences, but the professionalism and communication was amazing both times. That is what drew us back to AGCI. We felt very confident and comfortable. When we had questions about the process, someone was very direct in letting us know. We never felt that someone was painting a picture of what ifs or maybes, what they knew as facts they passed along and I appreciated knowing that we could trust them!”

How to Adopt from Haiti

Haiti Adoption Overview

There is a huge need for families in our Haiti Adoption program. With the addition of The Hague Convention into Haiti Adoption Laws, there continues to be forward movement in the overall adoption process. In addition, AGCI hired an in-country representative to advocate for adoptive families and children! We are excited to have this additional support and commitment to growth within the Haiti Adoption program.

Christian Adoption Agency, All God’s Children International has served orphaned children and families in Haiti since 2012! Haiti is a Hague-accredited country and committed to the adoption process. “We adopted twice through AGCI and I’ve continuously felt that AGCI is for both the adopted family and the children– first for the children, which is so important to us. I have never felt that AGCI operated like a business, but truly a ministry of love and care for children and families. I worked with other agencies, and I have a large community in the adoption world, so I know that the way things are done at AGCI is unique. I always felt that, if there was ever a question or a problem, no stone was left unturned to get us the right support and the right answer.”

Thanks to AGCI supporters, 1,136 children and families received critical support in the wake of devastating natural disasters.

“I loved that [AGCI] is passionate about orphan care. All the individuals working towards the adoption of our sons have spent their lives devoted to orphan care and taken the time to understand the needs of institutionalized children. AGCI’s expertise is at the heart of everything they do. I loved having a partner who is willing to fight for my child for all of the right reasons. And knowing that AGCI’s President is going directly to IBSR to fight for my child at the highest levels of government is fantastic.” –Dodd and Rebecca Miller
