Adopt a Child from China
All God’s Children International is committed to advocating for the orphans of China. Our China adoption program works with the China Centre for Children’s Welfare and Adoption (CCCWA). We are also blessed to have several one-to-one partnerships in the Fujian province. As a dedicated international Christian adoption agency, we’ll be with you every step of the way on your journey to adopt a child.
China’s adoption process provides thorough medical and social information on all children available for adoption. You can view photos and information about many of these waiting children here.

Available Children for Adoption
The following waiting children can be placed into a adoptive family once a family has their dossier into the CCCWA:
• More than 2,000 waiting children are available for adoption. Most are 2 to 4 years old and 75 percent are boys. Orphans who have minor correctable needs are between 4 months and 13 years old.
• Special focus orphans with complicated needs can be pre-placed with adoptive families prior to dossier completion.
Wait time, once application is started, is one to three months and families typically travel about six months after. The entire process can take 6 to 18 months.
China expedites all special needs adoptions.
The CCCWA’s implementation of the special needs database has given AGCI access to special needs children who are waiting for loving families. China’s adoption process is both stable and efficient, and the CCCWA is committed to providing thorough medical and social information on all children available for adoption.
China has grouped their waiting children into two categories:
Children with special needs and Special Focus children.
• Children with special needs often have minor correctable needs and are between four months and 13 years old.
• Special focus children typically have more complicated special needs and their adoptions are sometimes expedited.
Many of the waiting children in our photo listings are cared for in our one-to-one partnership homes. Other children are assigned to us from China’s main database of waiting children.
Adoption Process for China
Complete home study and then submit dossier.
Wait for a referral to be matched with your child! Through our special focus program, you can accept the referral of a waiting child during your home study and dossier process.
Accept the referral of your child–the CCCWA will then issue a travel approval to finalize your adoption!
Travel to meet your child and finalize the adoption! The first week will be spent in the capitol of your adopted Chinese child’s province where they will receive their passport. Once finalized, your family will travel to Guangzhou, China to complete your immigrant visa process.
Once your child is home, AGCI will require post-adoption visits and reports prepared by a licensed social worker on 3, 6, 12, and 24 month anniversaries of your child’s adoption in China. Families will submit additional reports at the 3, 4 and 5-year anniversary date.
